The Aston Martin V12 Vantage was set into production in 2009, and was revealed after several development prototypes with the Aston Martin V12 Vantage RS.
The car is powered by the same 5.9L V12 engine that can be found in the Aston Martin DBS.
The "Blue" Edition of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage was first introduced in the second round of Spot the Devs which occurred on September 9th, 2011 but was released a few days after on September 13th, 2011. The "Blue" Edition comes pre-equipped with Amerikon Speedsystems street-tuned parts which gives it an unmodified top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).
The "Cop Edition" of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage was released on October 21st, 2011 which was also the first Cop Edition featuring Cop Lights ever released in Need for Speed: World. The car comes pre-equipped with Gromlen race-tuned parts, 2-star Skill Mods, Aftermarket Parts and an livery which is inspired by the British police.
The "Grey" Edition of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage was made available on for the first time on November 14th, 2012. This edition is completely stock and does not feature any parts.
In Team Escapes and Pursuit Outruns, the car will perform well thanks to its weight; the car can smash through roadblocks with ease and won't be pushed easily by police cruisers. Its narrow body also allows it to thread through roadblocks easily, however, if the car suffers a head-on collision against a Rhino, it will come to a full stop.
