The Audi A1 Clubsport Quattro is a high-performance concept car, and was unveiled at the 2011 Wörthersee Tour in Austria.
Its design is based on the Audi A1 and is powered by a modified 2.5L Inline-5 TFSI Engine that can be found in the Audi RS3.
The "Wörthersee" edition was released on May 31st, 2011 which made its video game debut in Need for Speed: World. As a celebration, a 24-hour free rental was released for the car on the same day which was made available until June 4th, 2011. It comes pre-equipped with Amerikon Speedsystems street-tuned parts.
It was made available with the redemption for a short period of time with a code. The promotion began on September 5th, 2013 as part of a celebration for Need for Speed: World reaching 30 million registered users.
The "Speed" edition was released on June 21st, 2011. It features Amerikon Speedsystems street-tuned parts. The Speed Edition also features an unique Audi-themed livery.
For Pursuit Outrun and Team Escape, the A1 can perform well, despite its light weight. Because of its responsive handling, it is able to dodge oncoming police vehicles such as Rhinos. Its narrow body, also allows for it to easily thread through roadblocks. The A1 is average in terms of weight, as it is light enough to be brought to a halt (not thrown back) when confronting a speeding Rhino, but heavy enough, to not be affected by sideswiping cruisers/ramming police. Also due to the acceleration that the A1 has, it can regain any lost speed fast.
