The 1979 BMW M1 Procar was a modified version of the BMW M1 which was produced between 1978-1981. The car was used in the BMW M1 Procar Championship. The series ran for two years, between 1979 and 1980.
The "White" Edition of the BMW M1 Procar was released on March 23rd, 2012, shortly after the fifth edition of Spot the Devs. The car features Amerikon Speedsystems street-tuned parts.
The "Orange" edition was released on March 28th, 2014, and is the In-game Cash equivalent of the M1 Procar. It comes completely stock without any pre-equipped parts installed to it.
The BMW M1 Procar has a stock top speed of 309 km/h (192 mph) for Class A. Its acceleration is powerful and its nitrous output is very strong. Its handling is very good and responsive because of the big turning radius that M1 Procar has due to oversteer.
For Pursuit Outrun and Team Escape the BMW M1 Procar can be used as a good escape vehicle. Due to its heavy weight it can go through roadblocks fairly easy but it doesn't have the weight needed for colliding with rhinos without being thrown off-course. But because of its responsive handling it can dodge them without any major difficulties.
