The BMW M3 E92 was first introduced at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show (as a concept car) and is also the successor of the BMW M3 E46.

As all the previous cars in the BMW M3 generation the E92 had also received a new engine which name was BMW S65. It was the first car in the M3-series to have the S65 engine installed.

Editions[]

Heritage[]

The "Heritage" Edition was released on September 28th, 2010, with patch v4.11 and features mixed street-tuned parts and Aftermarket Parts.

Grip King[]

The "Grip King" Edition was released on September 27th, 2011, which was around one year after the release of the "Heritage" Edition. The car features Gromlen race-tuned parts, 2-star Skill Mods, Aftermarket Parts and an unique livery which resembles Ray Krieger's car from Need for Speed: ProStreet. The car has also an NFS Classic vinyl on it.

Achievement Edition[]

The "Achievement Edition" of the car was released on April 10th, 2013, where players will have to complete rank 5 of the Daily Hunter Achievement meaning that players will have to complete a 180-day Treasure Hunt streak in order to get it. This car comes with no Skill Mods or Performance Parts, however, it features a rare "REWARD" License Plate.

Overall Performance[]

The BMW M3 E92 has a stock top speed of 304 km/h (189 mph) which is very high for a Class B car. The acceleration of the E92 is good, but may not be enough to keep up in its class. The nitrous of the E92 is relatively strong, but not cosmic. The handling of the E92 is unresponsive and stiff, most of the time, and it can understeer at times because of its weight. However, this can be compensated with some performance tuning.

In Team Escape and Pursuit Outrun, it performs well as the E92 is heavy. Crashing through roadblocks shouldn't be a problem, and disabling police vehicles should be a breeze. However, since the handling is unresponsive and stiff, dodging rhinos can be an issue.
