In 2002, Volkswagen produced the Golf R32 in Europe as a 2003 model year for the Mk4 Golf. It comes with a 3.2 litre 24-valve VR6 engine producing 237 hp, four-wheel drive system, and DSG (Direktschaltgetriebe, German for dual clutch transmission), being the first car with it.

In late September 2005, the Mk5 Golf R32 went on sale in Europe, replacing the Mk4 Golf R32. The VR6 engine was uprated to 247 hp.

Editions

White

The "White" edition was released on July 27th, 2010, and is the SpeedBoost variant of the Golf R32. The car comes pre-equipped with Gromlen race-tuned Performance Parts.

Vivoa

The "Vivoa" edition was released on July 27th, 2010, and is a rental-variant of the Golf R32. The car comes pre-equipped with mixed street-tuned performance parts and aftermarket parts. Players can rent the car for 24 hours. On June 2nd, 2015, the "Vivoa" edition was made available for purchase with in-game cash as part of the End of the World event.

Blue

The "Blue" edition was released on July 27th, 2010, and is the Cash variant of the Golf R32. The car comes completely stock and features no performance parts.

Achievable Classes

The Volkswagen Golf R32 has a stock top speed of 224 km/h (139 mph) which is the highest top speed in Class E when stock. The acceleration is good and has an average nitrous output. The handling isn't so great as it tends to lose speed when turning.

Due to the weight, this car can be useful for Team Escapes. The weight is not quite enough to withstand rhinos head-on without moving, but it can easily push other police vehicles aside. The high top speed is useful for outrunning police but the handling severly cripples speed in tight corners.
