The "White" edition was released on July 27th, 2010 and was the In-game cash version of the RX-7. The car is completely stock and features no performance parts. The car was removed from the Car Dealer with the first IGC rotation on August 21st, 2012. The car later returned to the dealer on March 13th, 2015 as an IGC Weekend Special.
The "Blue" edition was released on July 27th, 2010, and was the In-game cash version of the RX-7. The car is completely stock and features no performance parts. The car model was removed from the game on August 24th, 2011, where the model then returned as a SpeedBoost variant of the RX-7 on July 16th, 2013, on sale for a limited time only.
The "Battle Machine" edition was released on April 19th, 2011 and was first made available for SpeedBoost, but then later also became available for Cash on October 11th, 2011. The car comes pre-equipped with Gromlen race-tuned performance parts, 2-star Skill Mods and aftermarket parts. The car also features an unique livery inspired by Need for Speed: ProStreet.
For Team Escape and Pursuit Outrun the RX-7 can perform very well. It can go through roadblocks well and dodge heavy police vehicles such as rhinos very well because of its responsive handling. However, as its very light, it cannot take a head-on collision with rhinos very well.
