The Nissan 240SX S13 is a two-door compact car that was introduced to the North American market by Nissan in 1989. It was equipped with a 2.4-liter inline 4 engine, as opposed to the 1.8-liter and 2.0-liter inline 4 engines found in the JDM 180SX and European 200SX.
The "Coil" edition was released on July 27th, 2010, and is the rental version of the 240SX S13. The car comes pre-equipped with mixed street-tuned performance parts and aftermarket parts. Players can rent the car for 24 hours. On June 1st, 2015, the "Coil" edition was made available for purchase with in-game cash.
The "Black" edition was released on July 27th, 2010, and is the Cash variant of the 240SX S13. The car is completely stock and features no performance parts.
The "Zero-Yon" edition was released on November 14th, 2012, and is a Drag variant of the 240SX S13. The car comes pre-equipped with Gromlen race-tuned performance parts, 2-star Skill Mods (including the Aero Drag skill mod) and Aftermarket parts including a Drag bodykit. Zero-Yon is Japanese for 1/4 mile.
The 240SX may perform well in Pursuit Outrun and Team Escape. It is heavy enough to go through most of the roadblocks, but it may lose a great amount of speed trying to go through Rhino roadblocks. Head-on collisions with these will also either stop the car fully, or get thrown back a short distance. However, due to its responsive handling, it's possible to avoid these with ease.
