The Nismo was first built in 2003 and is based on the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec R34. Nismo was given permission by Nissan to build Z-Tune versions of Nissan's Skyline R34 for its anniversary. Therefore Nismo purchased 20 models of the R34 and then upgraded its 2.6L I6 engine to a 2.8L that could rev to 8,000 RPM instead of 6,800. Nismo also resprayed the cars to a special color named Z-Tune Silver.

Z-Tune Silver[]
The "Z-Tune Silver" edition was released on September 21st, 2012. It comes pre-equipped with 
Amerikon Speedsystems street-tuned Performance Parts.
Red Juggernaut[]
The "Red Juggernaut" edition was released on April 9th, 2013, and is a Juggernaut variant of the Z-Tune. The car comes pre-equipped with 
Gromlen race-tuned performance parts, 2-star Skill Mods (including the Heavy Mass skill mod), aftermarket parts and with a red-themed Juggernaut-livery.
Blue Juggernaut[]
The "Blue Juggernaut" edition was released on June 19th, 2013, and is a Juggernaut variant of the Z-Tune. The car comes pre-equipped with Gromlen race-tuned performance parts, 2-star Skill Mods (including the Heavy Mass skill mod), aftermarket parts and a blue-themed Juggernaut-livery.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 NISMO Z-Tune has a stock top speed of 307 km/h (191 mph) in Class A. The Z-Tune has very strong acceleration but has an average nitrous output. Its handling is very good and responsive due to its AWD drivetrain. However, there is a small chance for understeer during excessive cornering.
For Pursuit Outruns and Team Escapes it can be used as a good escape vehicle. Due to its handling, dodging rhinos shouldn't be a problem, but since the Z-tune has a lighter weight than the stock R34, it may be troublesome plowing through roadblocks. Moreover the Z-tune can be tossed away if it does get rammed. Still, due to its quick acceleration the NISMO can easily regain its speed back.
