Quicklime
Quicklime Games (formerly Black Box) was a Canadian Game Studio based in Burnaby, Canada and was in charge of the development of Need for Speed: World until 2013.

The first game that Quicklime Games worked on was NHL 2K which was released as a Sports game on February 7th, 2000, for the Dreamcast console.

Black Box
Quicklime Games is mostly known for the Need for Speed and Skate Series. Black Box was founded 1998 in Vancouver, BC, Canada but was then in 2008 moved to Burnaby, BC, Canada. In 2012 Black Box was renamed to Quicklime Games.

Closure

On April 25th, 2013, it was announced that Quicklime Games had been shut down as part of Electronic Arts restructuring.[1]
