Royal Purple Cars[]
On November 16th 2010, the Dodge Charger R/T, Subaru Impreza WRX STI and Audi R8 4.2 FSi Quattro got new models under the Royal Purple brand that could only be purchased with In-Game Cash.[1]
On August 21st 2012, the 'Car Classes' update removed some of the Special Edition In-Game Cash models, including the Royal Purple ones.[2]
On March 18th 2013, when the Lamborghini Estoque was released, it featured a Royal Purple engine, but didn't come with the Royal Purple livery, but after the March 19, 2013 patch, the engine was replaced with an Omnia Racegruppe engine.

Royal Purple Engine[]
All Royal Purple cars came equipped with a "Street Series Royal Purple Engine" with stats of 4-4-0, which are actually equivalent to the Amerikon Speedsystems Street Tuned Engine. This means no improvement in performance compared to the Amerikon part but the icon of the part is unique. Before the Car Classes update, it featured a purple background, but now it looks like an Amerikon Speedsystems engine, with a brighter yellow color.
